DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
We just wrote a complaint about this company with the better business bureau: We just received the blinds we ordered on April 3rd and were surprised to find out that the product did not match the advertisement. We did extensive research on blinds to fit our new windows and picked this company to order the 9 blinds we need.
As a trial, we ordered only one blind (luckily!). We had seen this style with other companies "Cordless Top Down Bottom Up" and loved the simplicity of just pushing the blind up and down without any effort. We measured as instructed in the video and ordered the blind. To our surprise, the operation was different than advertised.
It has a button that has to be pressed down at all times in order for the blind to go up an down. A terrible inconvenience and not at all what we wanted. We immediately called customer service but were told there as nothing they could do about it - no refunds and no store credit. We would be willing to order the rest of the blinds with them with the system that we had wanted all along but the customer service rep said there was nothing they could do for us because that's their policy.
In other words, the customers are at a loss! Nowhere in the pictures or the advertising does it mention it has these horrible inconvenient buttons that need to be pressed in order for the blind to work. We are extremely disappointed with this company and want our $133.92 back!
PS: We got a call back from Michael Parsons | Director of Customer Service and were told we're absolutely not getting our money back! Customer service is a nightmare!

Untrustworthy
Cannot give me an update on status of order. Yet shows estimate ship date is 4/20/16.
I've contacted them 5 times and asked for a supv and the supv has to call me back. Have never heard from anyone. Credit card was charged the day after the order was placed. Waiting until 5/4/16 and will dispute the charges.
This company appeared to be a reputable, well known internet based company. But all I seem to get is the run around each time I've contacted them. From all the complaints/reviews I've read, do your research !!!! Buyers Beware !!!!
The customer service department is horrible. Chat is the easiest avenue of contact, but you don't get any action.
The hold time is sometimes for hours. From what I can tell, this company is a scam and from the other comments and reviews, I'm not the only one that believes this!

After posting negative reviews online, I was contacted by another customer service rep, Kristie, who promised to resolved the problem and send me the correct blinds. A few weeks later I received some blinds in the mail...
NOT WHAT I ORDERED. AGAIN.
This company can not figure out how to accurately complete an order. I will never order blind from them again.
I was really pissed off! But Selectblinds made it right.
I ordered 27 blinds from Selectblinds.com, when I got them 4 had broken valances in transit. I was so mad I called customer service and they asked me to send photos. I mean really, like Im going to lie over 4 valances but whatever.
I sent the photos and to my shock, they send me brand new perfect valances within 4 days! So thank you select blinds for coming through and showing me you are a good company that supports your customers.
I thought it only fair that I was about to post a negative review here for that I now post a positive one and let people know if you just call them they will take care of you.

WE ORDERED BLINDS AFTER FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS ONLINE AND ADDING TWO INCHES TO OUR MEASUREMENTS. THE BLINDS CAME IN TWO INCHES TOO WIDE.
WE HAVE A LIMITED AREA TO INSTALL THE BLINDS SO THEY DO NOT FIT. i ONLINE CHATTED AND SPOKE TO REPRESENTATIVES WHICH WERE NOT HELP SINCE THE ONLY OFFER WE HAD TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE WAS TO LET US BUY A NEW BLIND AT A SLIGHT DISCOUNT. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. SO NOW, I HAVE WASTED OVER $100 AND NEED TO GO SHOPPING.
GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO ORDER BLINDS FROM THEM.

Took the money and lost the order and Paypal had the float!
Ordered blinds on the 12th of the month. Money left my checking account and into Paypal holding listed as transaction complete on the 12th. No blinds were ever shipped. Had to contact Select Blinds about order, they showed no order.
I was out the money with no blinds. Select said they don't receive or take payment until the order is shipped.
Summary: Paypal had my money on float, Select Blinds lost the order, had to send a copy of the Paypal transaction number so they could find but know they would never have contacted me first because they lost the order.
Customer Service could only say sorry but not we will have you blinds right away. After many emails I still have no blinds and no payment credit from Paypal that was removed from my checking account.

Do not purchase products from Select Blinds www.selectblinds.com There really should be a rotten tomatoes rating for this company. They are far below the one star their site and others allow to rate and review. Absolutely the worst blinds imaginable! Top down, bottom up style has flimsy piece of plastic with one measly magnet to hold the top-down rail to the head rail which is completely loose and detached from head rail. Sags unevenly and looks atrocious. Not worth a darn. Locking mechanism also defective and will not hold the blinds in place. I have installed at least 20 of this type of blind from other companies with absolutely no problems. The shoddy workmanship and quality is extremely poor. Deceptive 100% satisfaction guarantee claim. Asked for a supervisor to contact me after initial conversation with a Melissa in customer service to whom photos were sent. Haven't heard squat from them since. Been nearly two weeks since initial contact. Wanted to give the benefit of a doubt, but now realize they could care less. They won't do anything to fix these defects much less offer a refund or even an exchange for a new product that is not defective. They want me to repair the things myself. Am reporting them to BBB and online fraud review board. Don't buy this product or anything from this company, You might as well just throw your $$$$ out the window you wanted the blinds for :(

I feel your pain. They sent me a piece of crap and then told me the defect was "normal" and how to "shim" a roller shade to make it work. Their stuff is junk, and I don't plan on using them again.
To SelectBlinds: if you think your stuff is quality, then stand behind it with a money-back guarantee.
